WHO WE ARE

We're Chelsea Haddad and Yasmine Chaitani, graduates of International College Beirut and current students at Boston University and McGill University.

Driven by love for our country and a deep respect for its people, we started Ya Hekayetna as a way to amplify unheard voices. In partnership with local NGOs, we visit individuals across Lebanon-each with a story both heartbreaking and heartwarming—and transform their words into illustrated books and digital experiences.

Every book or e-book you purchase directly gives back. 100% of proceeds go to NGOs supporting the communities behind these stories.
